Do you require an official language certificate?
Each BTL learner receives a detailed final report at the end of the course. It specifies their overall level and their level for each specific language competency according to the CEFR scale, as well as their strengths and areas for improvement. Sometimes it is desirable to supplement this rigorous assessment with an independent certificate, for personal or professional purposes. BTL offers its customers a selection of the best tests available on the market.
What language training helps you acquire the vocabulary specific to your profession?
Our sector and job-specific language training courses focus on the use of language specific to the learner's role, using authentic documents. Our experience in the corporate world has involved training people in over 150 different roles over the last 40 years, in very varied fields such as insurance, pharmaceuticals and the environment.
Which language training course should you choose to target a key skill, such as report writing or negotiation?
Each "themed" workshop focuses on one of the professional skills needed to communicate in English in the workplace: handling telephone calls, reading and writing e-mails and reports, taking part in meetings or teleconferences, managing a negotiation, giving a presentation, etc.
Language training to improve your accent
Accent reduction coaching is totally personalized to the learner's pronunciation weaknesses. Our highly practical approach involves an initial analysis phase to identify areas for improvement (enunciation, intonation and emphasis, speed of delivery, projection, posture, etc.), followed by a series of activities to target these areas. All provided by an experienced teacher, trained in accent reduction techniques.
What language training is needed to master cultural issues?
The challenges of intercultural communication are addressed on every course by our native speaker teachers. We can also create a customized program to meet the cultural challenges of your specific context (India, China, Japan, Germany, etc.).
